Hello! It is so good to be back! There have been some things going down in my life that prevented me from blogging for *checks calendar* six months. Oh I am so sorry!
But I’m hopefully back and just as anxious as ever to continue blogging. I’ve also revived (or plan to revive) a few of my other blogs since getting out of my funk. So, here we go.
Indoor photos and mobile posting, I am a mess this week. Oh well.
I’m here with a challenge post, hurrah! This one is put on by the Hobby Polish Bloggers group on Facebook. Each month they come up with a theme and we do manis based on it.
Since this month is the first of the year, this month’s theme was “New to You,” and that could mean a new brand, a new technique, etc.
A post? From me? With actual polish on my nails? Yes it is true! I mentioned last post that I was going to be reviving the blog, cause I didn’t want it sitting with the last post being from September. Oops.
I also mentioned that I got a bunch of polishes and stamping plates for Christmas and that was pretty much the catalyst that prompted me to be like, “Let’s bring the blog back, yo!”
Hey everyone! I haven’t decided if I like a M-W-F posting schedule, or a Tu-Th-Sa posting schedule, so I’m trialing both! Last week was M-W-F, this week will be Tu-Th-Sa. Hopefully by next week I’ll know which I like better.
Anyway, onto today’s post, which was done for Polish-aholics Anonymous on Facebook. Each week on Mondays they have a theme that members can submit manis for. Totally optional, and totally fun! This week was the first Monday I actually thought to participate, and the theme was primary colors. (I did actually have the mani done last night)
This is the start of a series I’ve been wanting to do for a while, but I’ve been missing a few polishes to make it work perfectly. Now that I have everything I need, I can start the series.
I have a bit of a fascination with rainbows, even if I haven’t shown it off on the blog. And I noticed in my process of collecting I was, obviously, collecting rainbows of polish. But not just one rainbow, I was building a variety of them. I was working on a standard rainbow, a pastel rainbow, a dark rainbow, etc.
I’m debating if I’m going to include other finishes, but to start this series is going to encompass the six colors associated with “colors of the rainbow” (yes, ignoring indigo), and for now just creme finish polishes. I’m gonna pick one polish from my stash to represent each shade of the color: a dark/vampy shade, a bright shade, and a pastel shade.
And we’re starting with red.
Hi everyone! I hope all my American readers had an awesome Labor Day. I spent my Labor Day, well, laboring. I had to work. That’s alright though, because of the holiday it was super slow. In fact, I was able to do my nails with the down time.
And what I did was a fun summer gradient to mark the unofficial end of summer! Which means fall colors are about to be all up in here.
Hello! I know I’m a day late (and probably a dollar short) but here’s my Twin Blog post for July!
Once again I was paired up with Tina at Light of the Moon Nails, and this month’s theme was animals, and we were assigned reptiles. We agreed on a panoramic snake design.
