A post? From me? With actual polish on my nails? Yes it is true! I mentioned last post that I was going to be reviving the blog, cause I didn’t want it sitting with the last post being from September. Oops.
I also mentioned that I got a bunch of polishes and stamping plates for Christmas and that was pretty much the catalyst that prompted me to be like, “Let’s bring the blog back, yo!”
Hey everyone! I haven’t decided if I like a M-W-F posting schedule, or a Tu-Th-Sa posting schedule, so I’m trialing both! Last week was M-W-F, this week will be Tu-Th-Sa. Hopefully by next week I’ll know which I like better.
Anyway, onto today’s post, which was done for Polish-aholics Anonymous on Facebook. Each week on Mondays they have a theme that members can submit manis for. Totally optional, and totally fun! This week was the first Monday I actually thought to participate, and the theme was primary colors. (I did actually have the mani done last night)
I brought it back! That one post when I put my faith in The Fanboy and let him choose my polishes. He did pretty well this time!
It’s been about a week and a half since I’ve posted, and I have no excuse but laziness. That’s okay though, I have a holiday challenge put on by Jessica of Be Happy And Buy Polish.
Today’s challenge is Candy Heart Sayings
Today’s post comes as part of an awesome challenge brought on by Sarah at Chalkboard Nails, Sammy at The Nailasaurus, Rebecca at Rebecca Likes Nails, and Leslie at Work/Play/Polish. It’s called The Lacquer Legion and it’s simple once a month challenge based on a theme, and January’s theme is “Reinvention.”
Reinvention could have been taken anyway possible, and I originally wasn’t going to do it, and was working on a similar mani to this one (I was gonna change up the colors), but I saw some posts on my feed reader about the challenge, and since I had the right colors to redo this one, I did it.
(Sorry for the weird crop in this photo, the file for the image off my phone was completely shot and this was as much as I could salvage for editing.)
*fanfare* It’s Tri-Polish time!
Hey! Today I have my next look for The Nail Challenge Collaborative’s Technique month.
